I hope the weather has not put a damper on the Gathering, I will have a suprise in store when you all get there. Just confirmed it today... I think I will wait a day or so to tell everyone. Anyone know how the I40 situation is in Nashville? I am going to be rolling through Ark and Tenn on Tuesday.

I just read they closed the Opryland hotel due to a levee breach. It flooded the bottom floor. I stayed there in 2003 for the 50th party. Stay tuned....

I'm subscribed to this one. Can't wait to see the car and hear all about the "old" ones on Saturday.

I have been tracking the weather and setting aside parts and stuff to bring to BG. I am going to throw in a few extra parts I have in case someone wants them (for the right $$ anyway) I am bringing a nice set of 1990 wheels with sensors and a complete extra 1989 ZR-1. I figure there might be a need for extra parts for #004 so one of everything may come in handy.

Well as some of you have guessed, yes I am bringing both 89s to The Gathering. David put me in touch with Randy from Desert Automotive. Randy owns the LT5 powered Camaro. Randy has some space in the hauler he hired to take the Camaro to the Gathering. Enough to fit #074! So I have had to add a little to my work load and get #074 show ready again. It leaves Sunday night. We will be putting them in the Museum on Wednesday afternoon. Then off to the Beer Garden at the Holiday Inn for a little R&R...

Eric, I spoke with David this morning and he gave me your name, as well as Bob's from the museum to contact on Wednesday about putting my car in the museum on display.

Do you have an idea of when you might be there Wednesday? We are coming in on Tuesday also, but I will have some prep work to do Wednesday morning.

1,695 miles later I am here! Made it to the Holiday Inn yesterday. Had some fun in OK waiting out the Tornados. I was about 1 hour behind that storm. I followed it all the way across the state. Today I am going over to the NCM to put the car in. #074 and the LT5 Camaro will be showing up around 4PM.

...McLellan, Jingles, Heinricy...all guys that got to drive these preproduction cars and were THERE. You were in the HOT seat boy! Some lesser guys would probably have turned around and started sucking their thumb! j/k

Good job Eric.

I had to leave after your presentation so I didn't get to see Tyler talk, if he did. Keith did a great job too. It was fun hearing an English "chap" talk, which added a little authenticity as far as it must have been in dealing with the Lotus boys.

Thanks, sadly we ran out of time for Tyler. The schedule was for 3:30 to 4:30. The autograph session from the session that ended @ 3:00 pushed to 3:45. We were told to get it going or cancel since we were starting to push into the dinner. So Keith had about 30min and I had about 30min. Keith ran over a bit so I tried to fit mine into 15min With Dave McLellan right in front of me. Next year we will put somthing together for those pesky fake 1988 ZR-1s. and grab enough time to get them all in. We have some real neat stuff on the 88s. They were the heavy lifters in the development.
