Hi everyone I am looking forward to the 20th Meeting next week
I managed to be on the last plane out of Heathrow, UK on May 15th - I beat the ash.....

I have been preparing the 86 #044 mule and I fired it up may 1 after its been dormant since 04 gathering (mental note : use STABIL) , the gas had turned to 'orrible stuff and I had to strip the injection system and clean - new pump, rebuild, mess with the wierd electrics and whhhooompphhh - at loud clatter and clouds of smoke - it lives again.

I hope to meet all of you at Bowling Green it should be a blast to meet up with friends, new and old (Dwight are you attending my teeth need a clean).

Some of you have spotted the unique phase 1 memorabilia on ebay - I will l have some items with me plus other items not listed - who wants a phase 3 or 2 cylinder head??

I hope you enjoy the Early days presentation on saturday.

I am looking to gather more info on the early days - I intend to publish all my findings in a book as soon as I can get the time to do it.

cheers from your UK Zed R one friend

I will be at the welcome meet - good time to catch up an meet new friends.

I was going to bring the Gold car 86 #41 in its sorry state as a kind of before/after display but the NCCM do not have the room - it would have been one more proto in the 'biggest' gathering of early cars to date.

Maybe next year.......

You deserve the satisfaction. You guys worked pretty hard running down all the one-off parts, as I recall.
