I have read a lot of posts that relate to the heat generated in our cars, and people adding insulation to try to combat it. Doesn't it make more sense to combat the heat from the source that generates it? I am going to have my headers, and entire exhaust ceramic coated. I am doing this for two reasons, to reduce heat exchange near the cabin area, and to reduce the expansion of the exhaust gases before they reach the remote mounted turbos.

Has anyone went this route, and can they share their experience? I am not a fan of wrap, and have had good success in turbo cars with this process.

TIA

I had the headers only Swain Tech coated on my ZR-1. If it did nothing to help, it still looked cool. Not that you can see much of the headers from up top. :(

I have SW headers that are Swain coated. Are they cooler? ... possibly, but don't have a point of comparison. They definitely look cooler.
