Try Fedex frieght. Shipped a engine from WA to GA for about 300 bucks.

Must be on a pallet with a halo.

Thanks Peter,
I ended up going with FedEx Freight, but after an education. Another member advised me to call them back and ask price if split into two pallets. Sounded crazy but he was right. Front suspension on one and rear on another. Price was now $514. Different class#. Go figure. That included residential pick-up with liftgate. ($64). Driver picked up on Dec 15 and delivery made to SRIII Motorsports on Dec 21. You can also check the location during trip at FedEx Tracking (my 2 pallets were #783549001). Thanks to all who helped as well as those offered suggestions. Parts were bought on Ebay #8016565164.
