WAZOO clan. It has been about a year since I have been hanging with you guys and after a year, I realize most of my to do list is almost done!!!
Also, I have a feeling, for the rest of the group, to do list is getting shorter and shorter as well.
It seems to me, another year and bringing all our Zs to perfection, at least mechanically, will be done.
What will we do after that? P&P? Headers? Stroking? Then what? I can't imagine oil change would be rewarding enough for most of us.

What will we do???:icon_scra:mrgreen:

Let's see;

1. Replace rear bearings.
2. Replace rear sway bar bushings.
3. Install C beam plates.
4. New tires - Eagle F1 GS-D3s
5. Refinish A molds.
6. Clean undercarrige.
7. Replace front bearings.
8. Replace clutch.
9. Replace tranny and rear diff fluids.
10. Exhaust headers.
11. Kenwood Navigation in dash.
12. P&P.

Hmmm. Not too bad. Like I said 1 year should knock it out. Unless, I add to the list like Baer brakes, 18" rims and tires - $ dependant more than anything. I can knockout physical work in 1 day.

If Rickyrj1 sees this thread, your lists will double. Starting with polishing the oil pan. :sign10:

I know. I saw his car.
Remember, it's a daily driver.
However, I am thinking and figuring out how to clean the undercarriage.

Tom,

I was in a same predicament as you - working under a jacked up car by myself, alone, lying on a cold asphalt at condo car wash area. Yuk!!!
Running up and down in an elevator to the 7th floor and a 1/4 mile walk, since my car is disabled, was a misery!
All this changed because of generous Cap'n, "bird-dogger" David and the rest of local nuts (you all know who I am talking about...).
In 19 years (4 years of sabatical) of ZR-1 ownership, this WAZOO is the best thing that ever happed to make the ownership more than occasional trip to 7000.
I hope you end up with more ZR-1ers near you soon...

Yun, thanks for the moral support....that's why I posted in your thread...we have both been out in the cold & I knew we could commiserate with each other.

I'll get my punch list dunn before the BG trip, come heck or high water!

Did you have the luxury of a fairly level surface to use your jack & stands? I should post up a picture of my parking space....you'd bust a gut laughing...actually before I got told not to work in my rented garage space you should have seen that work space! It was like working in the dark!:sign10:

Yes. I did have a relatively flat surface by the condo car wash.
My first plenum pull was in the below grade parking space. It was too cold outside so I just dug in at my parking space. After I had pulled the plenum a condo cop came by to tell me that I was in violation of condo by-law and another resident was complaining. So, I asked him to push my car while I was behind the wheel down to the car wash area about a 1/4 mile away. 'Course, he didn't care for that too much and asked me to finish the work as past as possible. I think it took another 2-3 hrs. And yes - it is dark!
