Thanks Tom thats a little small to see the wheel center clearly. Is the logo there the same as the ones on the hood and the cam covers? i.e. Checkered left, bowtie on the right?

My guess is you have, or are looking at, some knockoff center caps? Some of the chinese-made 5-spoke knockoffs come with "similar" emblems. Some have a red bird in place of the bowtie. Some just have the black field and the checkers, but no bowtie. They can't use the Chevy logo without permission.

There's only one Corvette emblem for your year, though, and it's the same as the hood and trunk emblems.

That was my mystery. I lost a center after a track session and ordered a replacement set but they weren't the same as those on my car, which was a little confusing.

The ones on the left are the ones on my car, the right is from the replacement set. The 'original' ones had the cross flags emblem instead of the bow-tie. I've no idea where the 5 spokes originated, they were on the car when I bought it.

Actually, i beg to differ, none of the caps you guys listed are GM Original and 1991 caps, this is 100% genuine 1991 MY.

Another mystery solved by the power of the brotherhood! Thanks everyone. As Kurt pointed out the real ones are in fact painted and not shiny :)

If anyone needs 3 shiny center caps with a crossed-flag emblem, they're welcome to them :)
