Hello all, I am a long time car enthusiast, and have finally landed a car I have always desired, a 1990 ZR-1. This is a 465hp lingenfelter tweaked car, blk/blk with 33k miles. With help from some members on another site I have learned it is #699.
I am already learning with the help of the great people over on the vette forums.
I am mainly a import guy (I have 4 mkiv turbo supras, a supercharged infinity g35 coupe, a 1991 modded all trac, and a few others), but like I said, I have always wanted one of these, so here I am.
I will spend a lot of time soaking up information you have already posted, and trying to learn what to look for on lining some of my current issues with the car (heater doesnt work, a.c is fine, slight hint of coolant, etc)
I plan on, and you will probably hate me, daily driving this car, including my coast to coast jaunts required for business.
Anyway I just wanted to say hey, and introduce myself.
I almost forgot, my wife bought this for me for our 11th anniversary :-D

Welcome. I don't think many will 'hate you' for driving your Z - it's your toy and it's what they're built for :)

If it were a manual I would be all over that.
The place to sell that thing is www.supraforums.com (http://www.supraforums.com), there are a lot of people who search over there for a car that clean, and stock which is the key yo a high dollar sale imho.
Thanks for the welcome guys, I appreciate it. I will try to be active once I get some experience, and knowledge under my belt with this thing.

Welcome and great to have you. If you don't know it already, Keith Moudy aka Itlgo2 is in the same town as you. He owns a pizza joint over on Terra Lane and I am sure he would be delighted if you stopped by. He has car shows and washes too I think and would welcome another "brother".
If you can, please plan on joining our caravan to the 20th Anniversary Bash at the Corvette Museum from may 12-14. We are leaving to head that way on May 11th so we can just kinda "cut up" for awhile.

:hello: Welcome to our corner of the corvette world!
Nice car! Congratulations on that find! I suspect that you will have a bad case of premagrin in no time if you use her enough! There will probably be only one slight issue with that LPE ZR-1, the more you drive her, the more you will want to drive her....I know so much for the garage queen thing.:sign10:

Thank Tom.
I am still getting used to the feeling of a n/a car, it is worlds different from what I am used to.
I never had intentions of making her a garage queen, but the more I drive her, the more I like her lol.
Thanks again for all the warm welcomes!:hello: Welcome to our corner of the corvette world!

I am definately going to try to make it to the meet, hopefully my schedule will accomodate.
I stopped by Keiths place last night after dinner, and had a few drinks with my wife. Unfortunately Ketih was not there, but it is a decent little place.

Welcome to the ZOO.
Nice to have LF ZR-1 to go x-County USA with for biz.
Sure this will be quite the adventure -- Would be great if you posted pics of the Z and the various "Great Photog Spots" -- would make in the end a wicked photo album.
"Me-America & the Z" -- I can imagine the killer olde style Rt66 pix already!
