Oil cooler lines

I purchased a set of the oil cooler lines put together by Jeffvette. See post http://www.zr1.net/forum/showthread.php?t=8188&highlight=cooler+lines

Here is the question for those of you who have already installed them.

Did you use any high temperature sealant on the threads? These look like they are like a compression fitting so I am wondering if sealant is really needed.

Not sure for anybody ekse, but I use a dab of black rtv silacone on all my oil fittings and gaskets with no leaks....ever!

I didn't use anything and have not had a problem - no leaks......

I didnt use any either and no leaks either but im sure a dab could not hurt as well
