As the man said......TIME FOR A CHANGE.This car needs some new blood guys. She is catted, restrained and needs a good home where it can roam and rule. 4 Corvettes is a bit much , I mean just how many of these cars can I drive ? Guess the 385 LSV will have to fill the void.
Oh the shame.

I cant justify it this year, maybe in another year or two. Too many things going on right now. I'm glad my stock 94is paid for. Taking out a loan right now just isn't appealing. If I had the 40+ in cash I'd be all over it, but I only have 20 and change. I am leaning toward having Corey H build me a stroker using an offset grind, maybe a puny little 401. Still al little ways off for that too though. I have to appease the wife with some furniture for the house. PITA. Cant buy the cheap crap either. :-({|= I know.

Sweet car though! Wish I could. A 440 man, that has to be the biggest cube LT5 yet. What is different between it and a 415, besides the displacement. What I mean, is what else do you have to do different to get up there?

415 uses 4" bore, 441 uses 4 1/8" bore. both use 4 1/8 stroke.

Frank,

May i ask what the car number is? I'd sure like to add it to my spreadsheet. Pm if you don't want it known please.

Your car is right up there with the other elite cars as far as I'm concerned. I mean, how many Haibeck 441's are there? Let alone how many will there be.

Thanks for the consideration in advance.

lm just happy to own a busted up 92 zed.....but l so admire (= drool over) the work that goes into a machine like this....lm too old to dream about having anything like this as a result of work success....going to have to win the lottery ( or bolt on a back axle turbo or nitrous and live like l had a built engine.....for a few seconds anyway)

Hey Frank!
Remember handing me the LSV keys Wed night? :)
I can't believe how many offers there were, but I'm glad
I chose your car. SWEET! I can only imagine what the
441 would be like! Just hold on to it until I win the lottery, OK?
Ted

P.S. You can thank me later for getting Keith back before he
had an "accident" in your car.

P.S.S. This again goes to show you the "brotherhood."
How many other people would hand you the keys to
their prized possession? Or their wife? Oops

You had my key's ?!?! I thought I had lost my key's Wed. night . Was looking all over for them :mrgreen:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 385 is a sheep as compared to the 441 , which is more like a moutain lion that had a bucket of real hot water thrown on it :jawdrop::jawdrop:

She won't be on the market much longer Keith :eusa_shhh

Considering it costs around $30k for a 415, seems to me Frank's car is the deal of the century at $42k.

Good luck with the purchase Rob. Keep us posted.
