Have any Z's been barn finds yet?

The new owner found 7 ZR-1's and all in "decent" condition. The new owner has the LT5 Camaro and will bring it to BG for the 20th Anniversary of the ZR-1!

Here are some pictures of the Z's he found.

Wow, black/red and PG/black '90s! Rare!

Did the owner buy the place these were stored at or buy the contents of the "barn"?

There's another long time Corvette collector in AZ but I can't seem to remember his name. He has all years of Corvettes in all kinds of conditions.

Hes just a collector. He drives them once in a while. Im sure they are all avialable for the right price but thats Freds call. He has these cars all over his house, in the garage, side yard, back yard etc. The bottom kinda fell out on the prices on these. Hes the first guy I met in our ZR-1 world and he talked me into picking up my first Z. He is a really nice guy. If I had room in the stable Id buy one of his. The blue one he was doing so major work on its a 93 with a grey interior.

I'm confused!! Were these just acquired? Or are these a collector who doesn't seem to care about his collection?

After looking at the pictures again I have a hard time calling the guy a collector. Pack rat maybe. There might be find in there for somebody but no excuse for 7 Z's being treated like that. I dope someone did buy them to save them!

Everybody has an opnion would be a little hard to store 7 at my house as well. Somebody must have made him a deal he could not refuse.

really, even with a cover on the car if you want your paint to look good you don't store stuff on the car

Cool bunch of cars but the way they were stored would come into play if I was to purchase.

Here they come...

I see they also have the LT5 Camaro for sale. Isn't the asking price double what they bought it for?

Just about anything can be brought back from the dead. That's what makes this such a cool hobby, finding neglected cars and bringing them back to life. It's just hard for me to come to grips with Zs being "old" enough to be considered "barn finds". Geez, I'm getting old :o
