T-4 and Counting!
Saturday is the big day for the Westminster Maintenance Day when we will dis-assemble Phil's LT5 Engine.
If anyone needs directions or other information, call me (443-244-1347).
The Official WAZOO Weather Checker reports that the outlook for Saturday is SUNNY.
Fifteen ZR-1 owners have signed up, and several more are expected to join us.:occasion1
The Official WAZOO LT5 Transport Crew has made arrangements for a Friday pick up of the engine in New Jersey, with a Friday afternoon ETA in Westminster.
In addition to the LT5 Teardown, we will be doing an oil pan gasket replacement on Yun's 1994 ZR-1.
The Official WAZOO Activities Director has announced that we will probably have a brand new White 2010 ZR-1 at the WMD. We will offer to do a water pump replacement, but the owner may not take us up on that.:dontknow:
The some of the members of the local Carroll County Corvette Club have heard about this exciting event and have asked if it is OK if they come by and meet the guys. I said: "Sure".
The Official WAZOO Food Preparation Team, (fully rested after their arduous duty at 2009 Corvettes at Carlisle) are standing by to serve all attendees a deluxe lunch. Rumors are circulating that there will be more WAZOO Mac-n-Cheese at this event.
The Official WAZOO IT Guys are verifying the direct network access to the internet from the WMD garage. There will live (almost) updates throughout the day to allow the entire ZR-1 Community to do an eTeardown.
More updates to follow.
