Hello Everyone
I in Tampa Bay, FL and new to ZR Net & just got my ZR-1, So got it going thru a little spruce up. What vette club around here that the ZR guys hang out. Just thought say Hi.
Anyone driving up to BG, chime in maybe we can convoy.

Hey there!
Welcome!! There are a few guys down there, but we do have a huge event in 2 months in Bowling Green @ the National Corvette Museum.
20th Anniversary of the ZR-1 (ZR1net Gathering)

There is a small group from MD planning on heading to the Orlando area and create our own Car show in your area in August of 2010. Dates / Times TBD.

I sent you a Corvette mechanic in Tampa who is excellent if you ever need help. He is also ZR-1 certified.
He has been working on Corvettes his entire life and is in his mid 40's. He is also my good friend and he has worked on my 3 Corvettes for the last 10 years or so. He is very fair and honest - a rare breed for many mechanics these days.

Thanks for tip on the mechanic, they are tough to find these days for sure. You guys get down this way we will show cars and I got a little ole airboat with LS3 on it show you the real florida. Hope to make BG going to be tight

That little ole LS3 dyno 610 hp at 6300, would not live in a car but in airboat world I swing a BIG STICK (4 blade prop ) :cheers: Would look cool though

Fun car for sure, if I just get it back together so I can make it to BG under the dash it looks like Agusta Helicopter 10 lbs in a 5 lb box

Welcome to the brotherhood, i was just in you're neck of the woods, my brother recently retired and bought a home in the villages an hour of so north of Tampa. I hope to meet up with you in Bowling Green this year,
