Ryan: I thought I remember that car was a US car that was imported to Alberta?

That's who we bought the car from, Morley. He was a little different duck in his own right...Split his time between Alberta & B.C., he had the car registered in Alberta so my buddy Craig didn't even need to do an out of province inspection. Car was all there, but needed some TLC, which it has gotten. Car was originally sold in Calgary at Shaganappi.

Thanks for the update. I've only run across info. on 46 and 72 in the two years I have been keeping my eyes open for another owner. It would be great if another owner chimed in who owns one of these. Perhaps they are all hidden away kinda like mine (#135) was for about 13 years. I'll admit I'm the most curious about that yellow car.

I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!! I'd love to have an Sdmiral Blue car. I do have my eye on a Black with red interior 93 as a driver. Can't buy one until next year though. I'm kind of tapped out after buying the 88.

Was this car at RK motors in Charlotte NC? Out of the country without my Corvette Notebook.

The owner's name was Matt from Ohio?

Yes purchased from RK in Charlotte, they had 3 ZR1's for sale at the time. I don't know the previous owner, was from Ohio however it was not Matt on the paperwork

Congrats on the purchase. I just missed picking #72 up in 98 from the Chevy Dealer Owner who was selling it(1st owner). I won't tell you what it was listed at but it was less than $30K at the time. Seems like an interesting history as it must be up to 4-5 owners now. Recently I picked up a whole bunch of parts that were purchased for this car but never installed (I believe the 2nd or 3rd owner). At some point I think it was exported from Canada and resided in Cincinnati.

Thanks, and wow sub $30k in 1998 that would have been a huge loss for the dealer car was only 3 yRs old!

Sorry, my mistake. 2008. Still a huge loss! Especially considering the Canadian MSRP.

08 makes sense, would have been a great buy under 30k! The car is looking good, I'm just cleaning up a few minor details. It seems like the car has not been driven for a few years. Nice to have it back in Ontario. Thanks for this thread it's been a good read.
