WB,

Did you notice much difference between the DRM e-proms and the Haibeck e-prom performance wise?

Do Tell!

My car is a daily driver and it sees no racing. With that said I have noticed two differences. One is the engine idles smoother and the other is under full throttle the power band seems to be broader. I got the Haibeck chip for the updated stock calibration and the cooling fan management. I have moved to warmer weather area and did not like how the DRM chip ran the cooling fans. I believe that is no different than the stock GM chip.

The "tuner" calibrations do nothing for things like part throttle operation. They basically look to optimize WOT when calibration goes Open Loop. It takes quite a bit of time and effort to get part throttle correct. In addition, there's always the emissions issue. If you compare stock cals to "off the shelf" tuner cals, you'll find very few changes and only in the areas I've outlined.
