Added another magazine to the collection......0-150-0 test. Check this out, now I want a 415.

Find another car that can do this.......

0-150 in 15.6 secs

I think most of the modern supercars are over 16.

Nevermind, I was trying to be a wisecracker, not knowing what
the usual 1-150 times were.

Would Will's Lingenfelter Twin Turbo do these numbers. I'd hope so. I took a ride with him at BG last year and that car is scary fast!!! Awesome!! I love it!:notworthy

He said the 415 because he can have fun with it at 564rwhp. He said the 385 is way to fast and you'd better not be looking of to the side when you punch it. You'd better be looking straight ahead.

Taking a trip to London are we? I think it would be funny hearing you speak with a high pitched pre-pubescent boy's voice after your wife goes Lorraina Bobbet on you.

Either car will kill you in a moments notice. The TT will just do it quicker.

Dude, why did you back off? I have gone faster on 2 wheels  (yamaha R1)
How did the car feel compared to some of the modern fast cars you have driven?

http://www.pnwzr1.com/Videos/BG09/Will_385_TT.wmvThat is very impressive. 75mph to 152mph in seconds. That thing revved up at 75 as fast as mine does in second gear. Holly sh*t. I'll bet it will easily go quit a ways passed 200mph.

He offered me the key and I turned it down, I just did not trust that I could react fast enough to control it so I rode. And don't blink. The imprint of my fingers are on his dash, I couldn't get to the key.LOL

I wasn't driving, so it's hard to give a proper impression of how it feels. Any sports car from the passenger seat feels fast. I will say it does get up and scoot. Car is worthless from a dig, but roll on the highway and it's a monster.

Maybe I'll get the keys this year...... Will, how about it?

I've driven and rode in many a fast or powerful car. Will's TT is plain wicked. Maybe he'll decide to sell one day and ....ahhhhh, never mind! It'll never happen.

He might trade it for a prototype.

That would probably be the most desirable ZR-1 to have in my book. Forget the Snake Skinner. If he ever does decide to part with it I would make every effort to acquire it. And since I only live 15 miles from Will it's not like he'd never see it again.

Motor Trend just did 0-150-0 in a new ZR1: 25.6 seconds.

What was the LPE's total time? I think I sold that particular Car and Driver.

I had better get the Asbestos suit out......Flame on!

Posted on the other forum....yes I am LT-5 Biased!

Well I had always wondered what would have happened had the economy not gone in the crapper in the early 90s and the DOHC engine gone on to be developed into a large CI small block much like the current Z06.

In a recent test from 0-150-0, the 2011 ZR1 went from 0-150-0 in 25.6 in looking at an old tuner shootout article, the LPE ZR-1 did it in 23.3 seconds without CF brakes and the benefit of modern materials....interesting.

Yes I know a tuned ZR1 would be faster, but its just an interesting article, especially considering there are some 440ci DOHC looming out there on the tracks.
