Something I'm investigating from a distance so I can't view myself. Current owner sent me the following:
Transmission: 1052 405 037 and 1052 401 107 on the metal,
Parts List 1052 000 035
Transmission no: 018066
I'm trying to get him to find the vin stamp but so far no luck.
Anyone make any sense of the above?

Now that's interesting... I know the trans in my 90' was replaced. The part number is 1052 000 089, anybody know the significance of that?

According to BB 1052 000 089 started out life configured as a 95-96 LT1/LT4 transmission:

Just for reference here is what the 'label' looks like>>

But they are hard to read since they are buried a bit...this is the best shot I could get on the tranny label on my ZR>>>

If your trans is a 1052 000 035, it is sure from a 1991 ZR-1.
