Small world. I have a Zr-1 94 availe (2 blocks away). Has louder knock in engine, will need complete tear down on the Lt5. 168K on the clock. Other then that car is in good cond, not a collectors by any means but good.
Estimate Value? Non Dunn

Condition of the exterior / interior?

Repaint? Accidents?

Wheels in good shape? New tires? Sensors?

both tops?

I'm no expert, but $10k to 15k.

Oh, I get it.
You're looking to BUY one.
Oops!
My Bad.

Hmmm.....
A high mile, common color with engine noises.
You will not make money on a car like this, it would have to be a labor of love.
If you have the money and love the car, go for it.
Otherwise, there's lots of '90s & 91's out there with a lot less miles you could pick up for what this guy would want for his '94 with a knock.
Even if you paid $10k for it, figure on spending $5-$7k in the motor and tranny to make it right.
Add paint touch up and interior freshening and you've got more in the car than you'd EVER get out of it.

Just my $0.02

I have to ask the obvious question. Are you sure the knock is not just the flywheel?

It was a ballpark figure for seals and bearings to fix the original (providing of course there's no serious internal problems like bad crank or rod journal or broken cam, etc.).

Currently it's under wraps (literally under the car cover). I have several projects ahead of it. I plan to go through the motor and trans. The car was for sale in the sale section here. No reasonable offers, so it's back on the build plan.
