Having just swapped out my failing water pump I was wondering if anyone out there has ever tried rebuilding one of these. With these pumps getting harder and harder to find, there may come a day when rebuild is our only option.

Not hard to find yet. Many in the hands of various vendors. I would be happy to sell my NOS pump if anyone is having trouble finding one..

Humm...$325.00 for a rebuilt pump, that more that I paid for an OEM. I wonder if he would sell me a bearing and seal  There can't be too much to rebuilding one of these pumps.

Sorry, Rich. Looks like I am responsible for you spending unnecessary $75...
