Disconnect oil temp sensor, secondaries can't be enabled without that input.

It's on the front right-hand side of the motor, near the oil filter. The temp sender is the black cylinder that sits upright, about 3 inches tall.

I thought that the one that is upright next to the O/F is the pressure sender?
Isn't the oil temp sender the one next to the oil cooler hoses where they come out of the filter housing/adapter?
Sorry not trying to be obtuse

Damn brain fart! You're right, I was describing the pressure sender. The temp sender does extend forward, out from the block, near where the oil cooler lines enter/exit the adapter. As far as I know, a malfunctioning pressure sender will not inhibit opening of the secondaries, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Any SES light /code that is triggered should inhibit the secondaries from opening, so it really shouldn't be hard for the OP to do what he wants to do.
