A recent letter from ZR-1 list serve requested ideas. One response was "Since Tommy Morrison will be in attendance, could we host him to give a detailed presentation on the record-breaking run, and bring
videos/film of the event"
To me with Tommy there that really makes it a very special event. I am posting a copyof my response (following) here because I can post pictures here vs the ZR-1 list serve
...I have been working with some other ZR-1 owners on a couple designs for personalized watches featuring buyer's ZR-1 and commemorating the capturing those speed and endurance records. I plan to have these designs finalized and available in late January.
I'd like donate a watch featuring Tommy and the cars to be presented to him when he's at the gathering, esp. if he gives a detailed presentation on the record-breaking run. On the watch for Tommy I think just words. "THANK YOU TOMMY!" might be best ... I need your ideas for improvement.

I think one for Mr. Morrison is a splendid idea!

If we need to chip in for his, I'm in!

I don't wear watches.....not mature enough yet to keep from destroying them:redface:.....but I think the second from the top says it all! JMHO

I would buy that face and see if I could figure a way to mount it on a pin I could put on my corvette hat! I know, I'm out in left field!:sign10:

Bill, I like this one, but I think the lettering regarding the records around the top could be reversed so it would read well when looking at it.

Great idea but are we sure Tommy was the only one instrumental in getting this record run underway. Just would hate to have someone like Heinrecy or others heavily involved and not present them with something too. I believe the Registry should pay for something like this too but check with your Regional Director on that. I believe that is Jeff Flint.
