Me and Robert Schnell are taking his black 93 Z and dropping it off for Corey to put Jeal headers and a tune on it. He asked me if I'm going to have Corey dyno mine while we are there to see what the difference has made from the top end porting. But I said what for? I'm still running rich. I still am running stock exhaust with stock cats. But then again Corey might be able to tune the richness out of it until he's done making my headers. But honestly I need wheel bearings before anything else. It will be a fun little trip though to visit my buddy C.H. and show him the new freshly powder coated top end.

RHYeah I saw it. The fab work looks nice. Whats wrong with it? Corey said he'd like to make some changes to it to make it better than it is right now. There was one 368 Z that had a blown head gasket. And another one that a valve broke in. The rest of the 8 were there for mods. He said that all these Z's just started showing up here out of the blue.
I also met his new mechanic from Scotland. He looks like he may be mid to late 20's. But Corey's totally happy with his work. He's worked on all kinds of porches and European multi valve cars. Great knowledge on turbos and super chargers. And can work on the Z's blindfolded.

The tune needs work and the turbo oil return system needs to be modified to be like our LT1 Turbo car. Corey is going to piggyback and new computer to run the engine/boost along with the stock system. Oh, and she's going to get a new clutch to handle the new found power! I've smoked the old clutch several times...

I'm very lucky to live only 2 hours from him. I've done allot of my own work to my car but if I ever run into something that I just can't solve myself, I know that Corey can.

I do envy that, or any one that is close to one of our Specialists or the more active groups of Z owners! Sometimes it's just not fun to be working by your self all the time!:(
Have a great trip!

Good question... I don't know...
I told Corey that I want to drag with the local Vette Club and take her once or twice a year to Spring Mountain for track days.
He's to start working on the car next week so I should find out soonest...
The spousal unit would also like me to have Twin Turbo's put on her Z06. I bought her one for Christmas...

All of my C5 and C6 friends are talking about that new Monster clutch and how awesome it is. Unfortunately they don't make one for C4's. http://www.monsterclutches.com/
