Can anybody shoot me a vacuum diagram (under plenum) for a 91'? I only have one for a 90', 1991's have that looped line. Can't seem to find one on-line only photo's.
Email is ccmano54@gmail.com
Thanks

Hans, the only two different things are the EVAP purge and vacuum lines.

Thanks Bryan, I'm aware of that one. Unfortunately it's a 90' not a 91'.

Never mind I found one! I forgot there's one in the engine supplement book.
For those of you not aware of the difference here are the two side by side. 91'+ on top, 90' on the bottom.

one extra part is that the difference?
do you have a 1992? or is it the same as the 91?

It appears the purge solenoid (item 18) and associated vacuum line is the only difference between 90 and 91 as Jeffvette described. I would like to know what the purge solenoid does?
EVAP. Basically gas vapors.

91' and up are all the same I believe. The difference is in the additional Evap solinoid and lines, and also the vacuum lines to and from the evaporation canister (#12 on the diagrams).

Hans, the only two different things are the EVAP purge and vacuum lines.
I assume the EVAP purge is the gadget bolted down with the two 8mm bolts on front of the coil frame? At the moment, I cannot find the electrical plug that plugs into the North end of that EVAP purge (my 91' is facing west) :sign10:
Oh...ya....I rotated each vacuum actuator for secondary so the shaft is not at such an angle  It appears they were installed 180 deg off.
What I really need is a nice under plenum labeled picture of electrical connections as well as vacuum connections for a 91' like WB9MCW provided in http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/kb/questions/343/1990+-+1995%3A+Technical+Article%3A+LT5+Secondary+Port+O peration+%26+Vacuum+Diagnosis which appears to be other than a 91'

Thanks....this is the cleanest and most detailed picture I have so far...I think from this I can get er done
I assume the EVAP purge is a gadget bolted down with the two 8mm bolts on front (towards front of Z) of the coil frame (frame holding 4 coils) which if so.....is hard to see in the picture. I am sure Jeffvette or you can tell me for sure and I am still looking for the electrical plug to that EVAP purge if that is it :read2:
I wonder if the vacuum actuators for secondary shafts are suppose to be angled or was that an oversight during assembly :sign10:
And it appears to be a 91' .

It is a 91,I figure between a diagram and an actual picture should help somebody out.

On a 91', where is the electrical wire for the purge solenoid? Where does that wire come from....I cannot find my purge solenoid electric wire for the moment :happy1:

Comes off the wire harness that contains the starter purple wire, the two coolant temp sensor connectors, the Secondary solenoid connector, the AC compressor connector and finally the TPS sensor.... They are in that order.
The connector you are looking for should be red with a blue top.

I got that wire connected to what I assume is the purge solenoid....but on the other end of that solenoid is another connector of some kind (passenger side of solenoid) :dontknow: What connects to the passenger side of that purge solenoid? It looks like a boot over an electrical connector. Or is that just a vent for the solenoid?
There are two vacuum hoses connected right next to the red with blue top connection you mention on the drivers side of that solenoid.

There is nothing on the passenger side of the solenoid. You have the correct solenoid?

So...this is the secondary solenoid...what is it that connects on the end toward me?
The pic you have is the EVAP purge solenoid. You have it connected correctly.

 Is there anything that connects to the right side of this purge solenoid where that tip sticks out? It looks like some kind of boot fits over that tip just to the right of the "201" in the picture of the purge solenoid above ;)
Thanks for the pictures.......

In this picture the hose that has the loop in it seems to be the one that always pops off as the plenum is dropped in place. You need to watch this line where it goes down into the rubber fitting as its hooked back up to the underside of the plenum.
