FWIW, maybe it can be of some benefit to you guys in the ZR1 community.
Doing a pretty trick twin turbo install on a 91, has a white Z with a belt driven SC setup. Have to check with Dave to post his info, but I'm sending Tom (shop owner) a link. Hope it helps someone. pm me for his # til I get the green light from MOM

Didn't have my camera handy, he said he'd send me some I could post. The 91 that was in there was getting put together in hopes of winning some 0-200-0 run. Guy has sunk a TON of $$ in the thing, should be pretty wicked, they are shooting for the 1000hp mark.

I'll have to see if he wouldn't mind, said he may click off a few to show it off and send them to me.

I have heard plenty of rumors about SC'd ZR-1's, but have never seen one.

Looking forward to more on this story.:happy1:

Did he say the price for the TT setup? some of those pipes look awfully low

I don't know the price on the TT setup, they are doing a lot of other things to the car. I know he's spent over 60 on the car so far, that's all the info I have. A twin whipple setup would be sweet! Imagine how that would sound winding the the gears, not to mention the appearance. LS7 what?
Threw some more pics up later last night...

I still can't find the turbo in those pics. The second set gives a better idea of the layout.

Similar to the others. I think if you powdercoated or jet hot coated his pipes they would look sweet. Not sure I like the idea of the welding to the air horn though.

That drivers side pipe that goes back to the intercooler is very low...below the frame...

Think some of the pipes are still in the "roughed out" stage, if it will stay like that I don't know. Wish he could get pics of the turbo and headers, looked very well put together IMO.
A twin whipple setup with a CNC intake base would run about 20k+- start to finish with Ed Wright tuning it. That would be a jaw dropping setup. I need this!
Please make your donations to Ron's Hot Rod fund

Seems to be a rather dead thread......

I'd imagine the airhorn setup would eliminate ant chances of a duct collapsing or getting too hot. Kind of like that fabbed up look...Pure race
Now, can someone sport me 20 g's for a twin whipple setup?
Willing guinea pig here.
