Noticed a 119K mile ZR-1 sold on the bay with numerous bidders for $12,900....had nice mods, but had some issues too. Price seems to be leveling off, I thought this would go cheaper.
Salvage ZR-1 on the bay right now and its at $7900 early.
This is just one end of the spectrum, but glad to see them not going lower and a lot of bidding activity.

I watched that car too. Maybe the right color combo and the chrome wheels got some one excited?

If you go to Vegas or Pahrump the price should be under $4k, or, about 66% off. Can I refer a travel agent for you?
ZR-1 prices are reflecting the market of all performance cars relatively speaking. When the economy comes back in about 2 to 3 years the price of ZR-1s will move a bit to... just give it time.

In time our ZR-1's will be demanding much better prices, but for now we must bide our time. Needless to say it is a great time to add one to your stable if you have some discretionary money on hand.

If its in the right condition, this was a steal.....500hp Lingenfelter package, but who the hell would put a kid under the back glass?

It never fails to amaze me how sellers do not put a single picture of the engine bay in their adds with ZR-1's. That is especially true of those who have custom work like this one supposedly had.
As to the child seat install, I wonder if it was done in a way to properly secure a child in the event of an accident. I give them credit for matching the red leather interior, but question it's safety. It almost looks like a mini-me seat.

I thought the same thing - if you're advertising major upgrades, perhaps a picture might be useful? If legitimate, it's probably a good deal, though. As for the kiddie seat, that just seems like a bad idea.

Wow that was quick. I wonder if they'll use eBay...
When was the ZR-1 price projection chart on the ZR-1 Net homepage created? $80K for a 95 in 2010??

Yeah, I think that should be taken down off the site.

Jim,
It seems to me that much of the info on the site is old and needs to be updated.

Well that table would be a good start

Jim,
Those values as projected by Mike Kitain are indeed both old and certainly not consistent with current market conditions. Mike Kitain used to be a staple in Corvette valuation world. I remember he was big stuff back in the early 80s. But he seems to have completely dropped of the face of the earth. I agree with you that the information needs to be purged from the ZR-1 website.
