65 but rainy here. Sucks too...in a different way. Was waiting to take off today and the control tower started disappearing in the fog. Turned around and shut down.

Man, what's up with AZ lately? I was out in Tuscon about a month ago with 50 MPH winds and it was 36 degrees. I was happy to get back to VA where it was warmer.

Brutal in the Summers and Decent in the winters (Thats AZ). We actually had a good blast of weather in here and Snow up in Flagstaff which is rather early. I have driven my ZR-1 in the snow when I first bought it on the trip from Houston to Phoenix via the I-10. Was snowed out in an area called Van Horn Texas Took us 4.5 hours to travel 15 miles. It was one damn scary night. Yeah Tucson is a little higher in elevation than Phoenix so its always a little cooler. We had a dusting of Snow down in Sierra Vista on last Monday as well

:blahblah: ... people here are freezing, it's all the way down to 45 degrees (at night) and we had rain all day yesterday! A major winter storm in SoCal. Rain all weekend coming up. I haven't even had a chance to mount the new wheels!

I'll be only be driving the Z a little while today, while it's only 57 degrees and sunny for the day.

Seriously, as much as I love you guys in Chicago, the weather sucks, looks like I escaped in the nick of time.

How much snow did you end up with?

Hullo Hans! Had to laugh...I was stationed in San Diego w/ the Navy back in '70-73. While riding motorcycles one Saturday in Feb(?) a friend and I stopped at a MC shop somewhere on University Ave to pick up a part or something. We got quite tickled to hear the conversation bemoaning the 50 degree weather and how everyone was waiting for summer to arrive so they could go riding again!!!:sign10:

Well, it is single digits (again) and that gives me the urge to start up my die grinder again - seems like a normal thing for an FBI guy to do, after the snow flies, right??

We miss you, buddy. But, we'll be getting together (hopefully before Christmas) for one of our beer n pizza bull sessions and lift one (or more!) to our FBI brother there in Orange, CA!:thumbsup: Do stay in touch, Hans.

Sorry to hear that guys....:hello:

Took a nice drive today to meet up with ZRXMAXX and ZR1Don, breakfast at Denny's, and a 30 mile drive through the mountains.

I know, I know.... DAMN me...!

The Z seems to like the west coast air.
