Well the first thing is that I was voted Director of racing in the corvette owners club of Houston. The largest vette club in Houston 350 members strong. It's a two year cabinet position. Now I am on the board of directors and will be attending meetings on club business. This was unexpected but I'm honored.:dancing
The second thing is we have a new member that just joined that has a 2009 black ZR1. And we are planning to get my 90 Z and his side by side at the next show and getting some pictures of the old and the new Z together. The two baddest corvettes of their time. I will get that one framed and I will post them here. Black and red will look good together. I must admit I think I'll have him beat in the engine looks department. The LT5 is the best looking engine ever made. But he's got me beat everywhere else. Hehehe! This is his.

Hey Glenn. There are just a handfull of us that like to race. But the club in the past has gone to TWS. But mostly drag racing because it's quick, cheap and within a few minutes your racing. But I would be totally open to suggestions. I know that you've give classes at Hallet and have lots of experiance with it. I'm going to try to get more members interested it. Most of them don't know what they're missing. They do lots of charity work and shows to raise money. The last show they raise over $20,000+ for the food bank. They are very well connected to. We have our monthly meetings inside MacHaik chevrolette in the board room. And any member who buys a car from Mac Haik gets 15% off any corvette or vehicle they buy as a member of the club. So it has it's perks.
