It's missing the top? That expanded rubber part of the top of the boot that seals the hole against water?

I THINK THAT NOTCH IN THE BOOT IS THERE TO MAKE ROOM FOR ALL THE STUFF THEY PUT ON TOP OF THE CAM COVER IN THE active suspension MOTOR!
