The side bolsters on both seats appear to out of order. The pumps work fine, it seems, as they pump up the lumbar support. Is there anything else besides the bolsters that can be checked or replacement the only option? Are they still available and from where?
Thanks in advance
Jim

Side bolsters are not moving in and out?
more then likely a bad switch.. if you are willing you can take it apart and clean it.. or buy used from Whiteracing or eBay as they are NLA from GM

Switches seem good. Pump runs and inflates lumbar, but not bolsters.

Side lumbar are not air controlled. They are a fixed mount connected to a motor/rod that mechanically adjust in and out. There is a separate toggle switch to operate them.

My mistake. I was deducted for the side bladders (on seat bottom section) nnot working. Seat bolsters are working normally. I don't see anything in the Owner's Manual about the sides of the seat bottom inflating, nor do I see a control for that function. Am I stupid or just really unobservant? Where is the control for this, if there is one?

Nothing on the bottom cushion inflates or moves. This is the NCRS deducting?

Correct, send that NCRS judge over here for a touch of reality.

Obviously, there are differing levels of expertise. In reality, I should have known my car better. Didn't lose enough points to make a difference; just want to correct as much as possible. The next step is a PV (Performance Verification) and everything, no matter how minor, has to work exactly according to GM specs. I'd rather get a minor point deduct now and check things out than to get to a PV and have it crap the bed. Thanks for the help and information everyone

NCRS judge deducted points on something that doesn't exist?
